Independent Minds is an independent research house. Its core competence is providing unbiased, fundamental equity ideas. Often these ideas are against the trend of current thinking. The company is based in London. It was founded in 2001, as the former Aegon broking office in London was spun-off from new owner Dexia. Dexia has remained a shareholder and provides a strong counterparty for the transactions of IM.
